Chapter 35 - Victorious Ceremony

I am dead.
Am I dead?
I can still breathing?
I can still move my finger?
I can feel my heart's beating?
I can feel the blood flows in my arteries?
Am I alive?
I am alive.
What happened? DS? Irnag? Puxx? Grace? My friends?
My mind keep asking me the question.
Curious. Very curious.
Wary. Very wary.
I can feel on my body. Stabbed wounds, slashed wounds, bruises. Yes, it is painful. But it's worthy.
I force my weak body, to regain my energy back. I try hard. I can feel it in my body.
I try to open my eyes. I try. Try.
Yes. I did it. I manage to open my eyes weakly.
My sight's limited. I can see everything dark and blur.
My body didn't generate much energy.
My sight catches on a figure. By my side.
A girl figure.
Crying.
The short obsidian-gazed black hair.
The pale skin.
The diamond-blue eyes.
The small pink lips.
Grace.
I force my body. To move my hand. Closer to Grace's. I try.
Grace stops crying, instead looking at my hand. She seems shocked.
"Xi?", she says while looking at my face. I smile weakly.
"XI! YOU'RE ALIVE!", she shouts as she about to hugs me. I raise my hand slowly. Shows 'no' sign.
"Oh right, you still haven't heal yet.", she says while giggles. Wiping her tears away.
"Where..... am..... I?", I ask Grace weakly. "What... happen... others...?".
"Everyone's ok. They're at outside.", she explains. She smiles. Very sweet smile.
"DS? What.... happened...?", I ask as I'm trying to sit. Grace quickly helps me sit. Lying on the bed is bad for vertebrate.
"DS Leader, Irnag died at the battlefield. You're the one who killed him. I was surprised.", she answers as she holding my hand. Her smooth skin. "But, I thought, you already dead."
I remain silence.
"Umm, Xi."
"Hmm?"
"You fell on Sharma, did you?"
"Why ask?"
"You said her name before you fainted."
"Did I?"
"Yes."
I see her face. Shows disapppointed.
I move both of my hands slowly to both of her right and left shoulders. She stares at my eyes with her blue eyes. Tears.
Slowly. I lean toward her. Our face getting closer and closer. I touch her lips with mine. Close our eyes. Letting all of her mind blanked. Disposing away all those disappointed feelings. She lets my tounge explores in her mouth. I let her tongue too.
We kiss for a moment. Then, we stop. I look straight into her eyes. I wipe her tears on her face, and say,
"Grace, a sun isn't enough to shine the darkness of my life tunnel. You enlighten from head to the tail of the tunnel. I need you always, Grace. Without you, I lost in my delusion of life. I love you, and only you."
She smiles, and say.
"Thank you Xi, I might be nobody before. But you. You made me into somebody."
"I'll do anything for the whom I love."
We hug each other. She whispers slowly at my ear,
"You have to take the responsibility since that night.", she giggles.
"I will. Don't worry."
We laugh together. She stands up, grabbing a bottle of potion at a table. Not far from the bed.
"Drink this. It'll regenerates your energy.", she says. Opening the bottle cork.
"Thanks. I need it though.", I grab it and drink it. Every single drop till last drip of the crimson-red liquid. It tastes like a boiled fish. Ugh. I can't bear it, but I had to. After drank it, I feel my body becomes lighter thnlan ever.
I think, my energy regenerated.
"Come, everybody's waiting you at COL Headquarter.", Grace stands up and luring her hand to help me.
"I wonder why.", I ask curiously.
"Probably, about DS."
"Yea, maybe."
The effect of the potion, I able to stand up. I feel relief. Grace just smiles. She gives me a shirt. A light brown. I take it and put it on.
I walk by her side. Everyone just smiles at me. Some of them greets, some of them waves. I just smile at them. As I barely walking with these injuries. Grace holds my waist. She's holding me tightly.
We reach to COL Headquarter. My heart's beating very fast. I can't breath easily. I can feel my body becomes warm.
Maybe because I'm scared. Nervous maybe.
"Ok, here we are.", I say.
"Hm, let's get inside."
"Well then."
I open the door. I see everyone. Puxx, Julie, Elisia, Coy, Binkie, Grizz and every COL member. They have this weird looking face. I just smile.
Clap!
Hmm? Where does this clap comes from?
Clap! Clap!
Another one?
A woman comes out from the crowd. I know this woman. She's the one who is clapping.
Fly.
Then, followed by Puxx, Grizz, Coy, Julie, Elisia. After that, everyone.
"XiStarry.", Fly speaks. Grace and I kneel.
"Queen Fly.", we reply.
"Please, raise. We're the same.", she says. We stand up.
"XiStarry, you have save COL from the wraith of DS or Dark Satan. You've kill Irnag, the founder and king of DS.", she speaks.
"It is my responsibility to save COL.", I reply her.
"As a thank you gift, I hereby shall grant you a wish."
"No need to, my queen."
"Please, Xi. This is the least I could do. For saving COL."
"Well, if you say so.."
I look at Grace. She smiles. Then, I look at everyone.
Aha, that's it!
"Queen Fly, come closer."
Fly lean forward. Lower her head to mine. I move my head to Fly's earlobe. I whisper to her. I see everyone emotions. Curious. Very curious. Ultimate curious.
Then she moves, and say.
"If it is your wish then, I shall grant it.", Fly smiles.
"Thank you, my queen."
Fly leaves.
"What did you whisper to her?", Grace asks. Curiously.
"Something.", I wink at Grace.
We leave the headquarter. Everyone bids us goodbye.
...few days later.
Somewhere in a room at a church. I'm helping Grizz with his red-black tuxedo. Very nice.
"How do I look?", he asks while tieing his bow.
"Gosh, you look great!"
"Thanks, man."
"I never thought that you're gonna get married with Puxx."
"Yea. I never thought this is your wish."
"I did the best for my friends."
"Thank you, Xi."
"No problemo, my friend. I'm gonna check the bride."
As I am about to leave, Grizz holds my arm.
"Tell me how she's look like.", he says. Winking his left eye.
"Heh, sure."
He let me go. I walk to the door. Coy comes in.
"Hey Coy."
"Hey Xi. Nice tuxedo."
"Yea, thanks. You too."
"Thanks. Hey Grizz, congrats!"
"Thanks, Coyote."
"Our Co-Leader is getting married!"
"Shut up!"
I laugh and leave them alone. I walk in the hallway. People's everywhere. Busy. I walk to the end of the hallway.
The bride's room.
I knock the door. I hear footsteps coming closer. A girl opens the door.
"Hey, men cannot come in!"
"Come on, Ms. I'm Puxx's friend."
"No beggy, Xi."
Then, I hear a voice. I recognize it. Puxx.
"Let him in, Ms."
Ms opens the door, and says.
"You're lucky today."
"Yea. Thanks."
I walk inside. I stand still in my footplace. My mouth open widely. Paralyzed. Shocked. Blushing.
Instead of a girl, I see an angel disguised as a bride.
Her very ashes-white long hair.
Her only blue lapis-lazulli eyes.
Her small cherry pink lips.
Her unique perfect tonned smooth skin.
She's one of perfect beauty.
"Xi?"
"Huh, what?"
"You're staring at me."
"Wow... such a perfect beauty."
"Thank you."
"I never thought, I'm gonna see you in this bride suit."
"Why?"
"Because I know, you'll be 100x more beautiful."
"Aww, I'm all red. Stop it."
She giggles. I'm about to collapse.
"Too beautiful. I'm getting dizzy.", I say and finding a chair. Ms and Re just laugh at me.
"Ms, Re. Could both of you leave us alone for moment?", Puxx asks to both of them.
"Ok. But don't take too long. The ceremony almost starts."
Ms and Re leave both us. Alone. In the room.
"So, Xi. How's Grizz? Does he looks great?", Puxx starts the conversation.
"He's good. You won't believe that he would be a charming prince in a shining armor.", I explain and smile. Puxx just smiles.
"That's good.", she replies.
Puxx walks toward me slowly. Step by step. I just sit on the chair, act clueless. Puxx sits on a chair by my side. She asks,
"Xi, why would you wish these? Instead, you could wish to Fly, that you wanted to be promote as CNCL or anything."
"You wanna know why?"
"Why?"
"Because, I don't want any of my friends being seperated or diverted. I want COL always been together. No backstabbing among us."
"That's not the real reason."
"And I want you to be always with Grizz. I already harm you a lot. I want somebody, meaningful, who supports me from head to tail. I want Grizz to protect you from any harm. He's better than me. I couldn't protect, despite of that, I harm."
"Xi..."
"Don't worry, Puxx."
I hold her hand. She's about to cry. I can see her tears. Glimmering in her eyes. I wipe her tears.
"You'll be with Grizz forever and ever, Puxx. Congratulation.", I smile at her.
"Thank you, Starry."
Puxx hugs me out of sudden. I am quiet bit of shock. But slowly, I move both of my hand around her.
"This is the first time, you call me Starry.", I whisper.
"Yea.", she replies. We stop as Re comes inside.
"Hey, Puxx. The Archibishop is here. It's time.", she says.
"Ok then.", Puxx replies.
I bow. Leave. It is time. Where Puxx and Grizz will be bonded in a life thread. I'm proud.
When I walk in the hallway, I hear a footsteps. Running. It comes closer and louder. I turn around.
"Re?"
"Xi, Grizz calls you. He's at the main hall."
"Ok. Let's go."
Both of us run to the main hall's backdoor. I open the backdoor and see Grizz standing in front of everyone. COL.
I walk inside. Slowly approaching Grizz. He notices me.
"Good you're here. You're the ring-bearer."
"Now, where's the ring?"
"Here."
He gives me a case. I open it. Peek inside of it.
I see.
A diamond ring.
Very beautiful.
I stand beside Grizz and Archibishop. I see Grace, who stands in the first of the female's seat with Julie, Annebel, Elisia, Bea and the others.
At the male's seat, I see Vamp, Hells, Coy, Binkie, Bevin and so the others. COL, LDK, TQA. All of them. Together.
From a far sight of mine, I could see Puxx. Standing at the hall's door. Waiting.
As the organist plays, the bride's comes. Puxx walks along the hall slowly. Followed by Ms and Re, her bridesmaid. They're holding the bride's curtain. Sunlight shines her white hair. Its sparkling. Glimmering. Her smile. Very sweet. Her eyes. Very attractive. Ah.
She slowly approaches Grizz. I can see Grizz nervous. I show signal to Grizz, "Don't nervous. Everything's ok."
He seems quite relaxing and calm. The bishop starts to speak,
"Today, our Lord has bestow upon us, a great light. To unify this noble pair.", the bishop speaks. "Sir Grizzleybear, are you light-hearted to accept this young frail maiden as your lifesoul?"
"Yes, I am. I shall accept this frail maiden as my lifesoul. I'll protect her with my very own soul.", Grizz answers the question. Confindently. I smile to Grizz.
"Lady PuxxieGalore, are you willing to take this honorable knight as your soulmate?", the bishop asks to Puxx.
"Yes, I am. I shall accept him as my forever soulmate. I shall obey to his order and loving him as my life keep going.", Puxx answers.
"Then, we have both agreement. Please, show me the sign of your love, sir groom.", the bishop looks at Grizz. Then, Grizz looks at me and showing me the ring. I give him the ring.
"This is my sign of love to my bride.", Grizz shows the bishop the ring. The bishop nods.
"Followed by the law. You may sheate the ring to the bride's finger.", the bishop orders.
Grizz takes Puxx's left hand. He sheates the ring into her ring finger. Puxx almost cry. I can see happiness in her eyes.
"By the power bestow upon me I herby pronounced Grizzleybear and PuxxieGalore, a noble wedded pair.", the bishops announces.
I clap my hands loudly as the others. Then, the bishop says,
"Groom, you may kiss your bride."
This moment, I've been waiting for.
Grizz lower his head to Puxx's. Puxx tiptoes to reach Grizz's. Both of their lips collides.
Everyone claps their hand again.
Tears running from my eyes. Rolling down to my cheek. Wetting my chin.
I'm crying of happiness.
Grizz and Puxx. They walk together along the halls. Everyone stands up. Clapping their hands.
I follow by the back. Then, Grace comes to me.
"I wonder, when is our turn?", she asks and smiles to me. I laugh a bit, wiping my tears.
"Soon, Grace. Soon.", I answer her. She holds my tight in the arm as we walk through the hall.
Everyone walks to the outside of the church. The wedded couple stands down below the stairs, waiting for the horse carriage. Puxx and Grizz just waves at us. They bid us goodbye and thank you. I just stand still and smile to both of them. Puxx's tearing of happiness. Grizz just smiles broadly.
I will never forget this.
Then, the horse carriage arrives. Puxx turns her back to us. Her white hair's flips swiftly in the air. Sparkling the sunshines. Makes me overwhelm.
She throws the bouquet of roses and forget-me-nots into the air. All girls become chaotic. They rage to the bouquet. They almostly ragged each other. Just for a bouquet of rose.
Then, a hand raise up in the air. Holding the bouquet. Everyone steps aside. Clapping their hands. I curiously look to the lucky girl. I'm a bit of shocked.
Grace manages to get the bouquet. I smile to her ans clap my hand. She smiles then runs toward me. I stop, she dashes me. Hugs me with flowers in her hand and collides her lips with mine.
Kissing me gently, crying of happiness. I accidentaly lying down, dashed by a girl whom I love. I kiss her back passionately. Everyone claps their hand amazely.
Then, we stop. She smiles at me and whispers,
"We'll always be forever, right?"
"Yes, Grace. You and I only.", I say while wiping her tears. We laugh together and get up.
"Come, Xi. I want to show you something.", Grace says while pulling my hand. Descending the stairs.
"What is it?", I ask her. She just smiles.
"We'll go to graveyard.", she answers.
"What for?", I ask her again.
"Something.", she winks.
"Ok, we'll go with our horse.", I reply.
"Ok."
We get onto our horse. Ride them to the graveyard through the town. Everyone waves at us. I wave them back.
...soon
We reach to the graveyard. I get off my horse. So do Grace.
"Follow me. I'm showing you something."
"Ok then. Hoping this isn't a prank or jokes."
"No, it isn't."
We walk inside and I follow Grace slowly from the back. I look at the gravestones. Many legendary COL members leave us. They done a great deed to COL. Indeed.
Grace stops. I stop for sudden. She turns her back, giving me a forget-me-not. She says,
"Go. Pray to these graves." I stare at her weirdly. I move slowly to the grave. I stand still. Paralyzed and shocked. I never thought of this before.
I walk slowly to the grave. Place the forget-me-not and say,
"I never know that you're COL. You've guided me well when you leave. You've took care of me very well. This is the least I could do. Thank you."
Grace hugs me slowly at the shoulder. I hold her hand. Tears running from my eyes. I know my eyes isn't lying. My sight is always correct.
Both of these grave very meaningful to me.
