Chapter 2 - Akhnar

Chapter 2 - Akhnar
===============

Today, I wake up. I see birds. Chirping by the window sill. I see sun. Shines through the window. I see madam Noir. Watering her flowers.

"I'm going to the town again," I monolouge.

Then, I grab my towel, hung by the bedside. Rush to the bathroom. Brush my teeth, soap my body, clean the dirt. I prepare myself a perfect jacket. Leather jacket. I suit up with a pair of trousers. Black one, shows elegancy. Then, my leather boots.

I comb my hair. I use to have a curly hair, but now, spiky is my style.

Perfect hygiene.

I run downstairs. Rush into the kitchen, found myself madam Noir, preparing the breakfast.

Pancakes, tea, doughnuts.

      "Morning, Xi," madam Noir speaks

"Morning madam. How beautiful the day is today"

      "It is"

"Beautiful. Like the madam herself," I smile.

"Stop with your morning jokes, XiStarry. You've got something better to do," the landlord Zhor speaks, once he steps inside the kitchen.

"Morning Zhor," she gives a kiss on his cheek.

Old folks. Their love never get old.

"Madam Noir, I'm going to the town after breakfast. Should I buy anything during my journey?"

"Since you're on the road Xi, help your uncle Zhor. Get him a pipe. Rose-carved one. By Dorg Pipe House," madam Noir requests.

"No trouble done. I'll finish the quest," I say while sipping a cup of tea.

I take a piece of pancake, two piece of doughnuts and put them into my porcelain plate. I eat them slowly. Reminds me of my father, an honored man. He always reminded me to take care of eating etiquette

Father..

Soon, I finish eating my breakfast. Enough until lunch. I walk to the door. Hold the doorknob.

"You should find youself a maiden, Xi," uncle Zhor teases me. I laugh.

Maybe I should.

I excuse. Open the door. Leave.

...soon

      "I see you're coming, child"

"Oh, it's you again, sir", I reply to the same old man.

      "Where are you going?

"Dorg's Pipe House, sir. I have a quest to conquest"

      "I see the spirit, child"

      "I am grateful"

"You must walk past three blocks forward, then turn to your right. You shall find a sign."

"Thank you for your great help, sir"

"My help is for the one only"

I bow. Smile. Leave.

Akhnar.

I walk around. Many people buying groceries by Hadr Grocers
Hats are sold by Giean Hat Store. Pots, vases sold at Joks Pottery.

There it is.

Dorg's Pipe House.

I step inside. Bell jingles. An old man, like 50s wearing a good overall, glasses.

"May I seek your pleasure, young man?" The old man asks me.

"You must be called Dorg, right?" I reply, pointing at him.

"Yes. Yes, I am", he answers.

"I'm pleased. I'm requiring your help, sir"

"What can I do for you?"

"I need a pipe. A rose-carved one. I seek the truth, you might sold it"

"You've come to the right place, right time. Follow me", he said and point me the counter.

A pipe.

Beautifully rose-carved.

Just like uncle Zhor requested.

"You're brilliant, sir!" I praise sir Dorg. He smiles.

   "Thank you. Please, take it."

I pay him 50 gold coins.

I smile. Bow. Thank him. Leave.

My steps march towards the tavern. My heart can't stop beating fast. Every step, blood rushes to my whole body. I feel warm.

I step inside. My heart skips a beat.

Grace.

I search for myself a table. And I found one. The same table. Under the stairs.

I walk to the table, while staring at Grace. Her blue eyes. I can see an angel in disguise through it.

Once I reach my table, Grace notices my presence.

"Well, if it isn't XiStarry.", she smiles while coming towards me. I'm getting all red. My heart won't stop beating.

"I'm here for another drink.", I calm myself, giving her a smile. She smiles back.

"Which one would you prefer?", she asks
"I'll take yesterday's memory with me."
   "Schott 1389, I guess"
   "You're correct, my fair maiden"

She smiles and leave.

A table besides me, there's two folks. Chatting broadly. Talking about Sherwood Forest, an enchanted forest. Full of mystery. Life of fantasies. Agenda of adventure.

It catches my attention, until Grace comes with a bottle of wine.

"Can I know certain of your life, dear Grace?"
"Which one?", she asks while sitting on a chair, besides me.
"You seem too young, Grace. How old are you?"
"My age just reach 18 years old.", she smiles.
   "How wonderful and coincidence!"
   "Why?"
   "We're the same then!"
   "I'm glad"
   We laugh a little.

She excuses herself.

I thank her. Smile.

She smiles. Leaves.

In my thought, only two words floating in my curiousity chest.

Sherwood Forest.
